Voting is easy.

You get two votes this month. Choose your favorite image from EACH above listing. Then, send a note to the *color-me-club. Entitle the note "VOTE ________, _______" and instead of the blanks, use the name of the ARTISTS you are voting for.

For example, if a deviant named "Barney12345" submitted a color image for the first image, and "JenXOXOXO" colored the second image, and you wanted to vote for their entries, you would send us a note entitled "VOTE Barney12345, JenXOXOXO."

You do not have to write anything in the body of the note. We do not open votes, we simply read the title of the note. So it is very important to follow this naming convention properly to ensure your vote gets counted accurately.



_{ANY SPECIAL VOTING RULES?}

There are a few rules that need some going over.

First off, you do not have to be a *color-me-club member to vote. This is open to all denizens of the deviantArt community.

Voting will take place until Thursday, November 6th.

You may only vote for one entry for each image. Do not use multiple accounts to vote for a single entry.

Participants in the contest are allowed to vote, and they are allowed to vote for their own entry. Pride. It's a good thing to have.

Lastly, any users found to be pandering for votes will be disqualified. You ARE allowed to state "I hope I win, wish me luck" on the image description. However, you CANNOT say "everybody go to this [link] and send them a note voting for me" in any medium. And by any medium, we mean ANY medium. This includes:

-On the image description.
-On the image itself.
-On comments in that image, or other images.
-Your signature.
-Forum posts.
-Notes.
-XBox Live username.

Use proper judgment. Pandering is for slimy politician scumbags. We're artists, we're far better than them in every way conceivable. Let the image speak for itself, and the best way to say "vote for me" is to put a laborious amount of love and tender work into your art.

Really cool entries this month, people. I understand these were some very complex linearts for the contest, and it seems to have been imposing to a number of you. But for those stalwart color artists that stepped up to the challenge, fewer in number they were, a hefty congratulations is in order for all of these brilliant works.

While we're voting this week, we need ideas for what people should make for the November lineart contest. If you have an idea for lineart that you think is irresistible, let us know. We are looking for user-submitted ideas for themes.

Just send a note to the club entitled "November Theme Contest."

Good ideas for themes are very inclusive, creative ideas that do not restrict artists. Last contest, we had the epitome of the "unlimited" aspect with...an..."unlimited" theme. Other past ideas were "fuzzy," "wild," "love," and "heroic." Bad ideas would be very specific, limiting themes. This could be something like "landscapes" or your favorite TV show.
