I really can't wait to design and draw some 1920's inspired clothes, if it's not 1920s I'm going to be soooo disappointed. I might add a sprinkling of some snowflakes too, just for fun.
Vest you totally crack me up.

I picked the 1920's becuase its one of my favorite era's. However....i can see why some people would pick snowflakes, its a very challenging idea, i mean....you'll have to be very creative to color a snowflake, lol. They'll need to use thier imaginations im sure.

I just feel that snowflakes are so expected, winter approaching and all... Sometimes it's nice to have a theme connected to current events but sometimes it's just same old y'know =/

Yeah i agree! But also, i can see people getting inspired by winter and christmas to draw and color snowflakes. However its nice to stray off the path once in awhile :) Especially since its only november, not quite winter or christmas yet, but thats why we have polls right? Whatever it may be, it'll be fun and challenging. I still dont know how someone is going to color a snowflake though, but i am surprised everyday by people's art and thier imagination.

When I see 1920's, all I can think is "Flapper Girls" and jazz music. They're all such good themes that I think everyone could get really creative with. Hmm..decisions, decisions...I'll go w/ 1920's!

1920s!
But I want to point out that there shouldn't be an apostrophe... sorry

Actually, when it comes to decades and apostrophes, there are no hard and fast grammatical rules and in American English, 1920's is perfectly acceptable. The most important thing is just being consistent in whether or not you choose to use it.

I speak the Queen's English, not American English. I of course, should've considered the origin of the poll before correcting.

As far as English is concerned, there are few (if any) grammatical rules that are without caveats and exceptions. The internet further compounds the confusion due to the various national and regional standards represented... given, of course, that those who represent them are grammatically correct in the first place. It's like a more pedantic version of the Tower of Babel.

Linking to the Tower of Babel, is most appropriate, there is certainly a lot of confusion between English speaking countries, mainly, I suppose, because we don't speak the same English. It seems one often forgets with whom one is talking, and spelling, grammar and punction don't change as needed for the existing audience.

I teach Swedish and English =) It is quite embarrassing for me not knowing certain things but most of my knowledge consists of what I already learned before going to university. When it comes to art, well... I couldn't draw to save my life! ^^
