Yep, I'm a core volunteer with our local marathon every year, and I always donate a bit of my money to causes I support.

Well, I use to help out on a weekly basis in an animal shelter, even fostering kittens.^-^

But unfortunately, due to my terrible (and I do mean TERRIBLE!) allergies, I was forced to stop.:[ (My allergies are so bad I end up getting sick..>__< Puffy eyes, asthma, itchy throat, sneezing, fatigue..)

I volunteered at the public library for a long time (like August 08-February 09), but then they hired me, so I don't anymore XD I don't often make donations either, but the other day the girl at Hot Topic asked if I wanted to donate a dollar to support music and the arts, and I said sure, and she gave me a bag, lol. So yeah, other than that stuff I don't really do anything, but I have in the past.

me and my friend walk the dogs at the Humaine Society whenever we can. We also help with off-siet adoptions and clean cat cages.

Holy snap, I don't do anything. But what can I do? I'm a broke jobless 16 year old who lives with her family(I prefer to life with family as long as I can) that just barely makes it. Nope, not much I can do. If anything, I need help! XD

I don't have the mental constitution to volunteer at the shelters... I don't suffer fools easily, and giving up the dog because "we're having a baby" would send me over the edge. Just me.. and I have NEVER been one to keep my mouth shut, LOL. Political Correctness is not in my vocabulary.

In GA you have to have a license to be an "official" rescue, and since I can't afford that I do what I can. I will get dogs out of the kill shelters when I can. I help the local rescues with transport and I'll take a bag of dog food there when I can.

Being unemployed at the moment it is rough, as it is all I can do to pay my own bills and feed my own 7 dogs.

Oh... and I have donated many sketches for rescue auctions

I work for free every year at the next biggest LAN party in the world, TheGathering and I give money to a aid organisastion every month and I give money to the local animal shelter.
I love doing volunteer and planning on doing much more this year.

I volunteer at my local library whenever I have a day to spare.

It makes me happy to go through and put the books back where they belong because it's mutually beneficial to the library's patrons and staff. Also, it pleases my OCD to put them in perfect Dewey Decimal order.
